Group exercises are a great way to meet up and spend some relaxing time. Be sure to do your research in a local newspaper, visit parks and recreation websites, or visit your local YMCA for an overview of the classes and classes on offer.
Make sure you choose a class with expert personal trainers that meets two to three times a week. If you are a beginner in the gym, make sure the class is not very advanced, you can exercise. The last thing you want to do is take a very difficult path and get discouraged.

Come a few minutes before class or step back a few minutes after class and include yourself in the instructor. Often the tutors are also fitness trainers who can give you one piece of good advice after another.
The key is don't give up. One way to help when you feel like you've fallen out of the car is to ask a friend to hold you accountable for their goals. Make friends in class and sign contracts to stay in touch and make sure no one stays.
Sometimes things come up; Family, work, and illness occur, but don't use these as repeated excuses. If you accidentally miss a class, go into your business of putting on make-up with another class, or go out and do the exercises yourself. If you stick with your exercise program, you'll get results.
